After a phenomenal first year under the artistic leadership of Garrett Ammon and Dawn Fay, Denver’s premier contemporary dance company announces its next inspiring expanded season.
Season highlights:
More shows. A new fall show brings this season’s total to five productions – two fall, two spring, plus the annual presentation of The Nutcracker.
Two venues. See the entire 5-show season at Pinnacle Events Center in North Denver, OR see a series of 3 of the season’s productions at the Lakewood Cultural Center. Just 15 minutes from downtown, each venue provides easy access and plenty of free parking.
Guest artists and collaborators. This season’s guests include internationally renowned choreographer Mark Godden, former resident choreographer for the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, and Ma Cong, winner of the 2007 21st Century Choreography Competition. BNC also partners with the award-winning Lighthouse Writers’ Workshop to create unique and compelling work for the February show, Love.
