Other Classes
Jazz
Our Jazz program is designed to enhance our ballet curriculum, adding sharp, electric movement to students’ dance technique. Students in Ballet A and above may take Jazz while enrolled in at least two ballet classes.
Modern
Our Modern program also compliments the ballet curriculum, building core strength, and helping build movement qualities that extend away from the core. Students in Ballet C and above may take Modern while enrolled in at least two ballet classes.
Contemporary
A class designed for second year E’s and F’s that experiments with innovative movement. Meant to help classically trained dancers adapt to different movement styles which are used in a professional dance companies.
Composition
Composition takes students through a multitude of exercises to build choreographic skills. The class culminates in the Young Choreographers’ Showcase in the spring. Students in Ballet E and above may add Composition.
Body Conditioning
Open to all ages, this class builds core strength, sculpts arms and tushie, and builds flexibility.
Pilates
Pilates teaches good alignment and helps develop positive muscular habits that help support efficient and healthful, posture and movement. Pilates is useful to all ages and challenges the body's core muscles.
