Katie McCoy

Development Manager

Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Katie trained at the prestigious Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet for 12 years.  She graduated in 2006 from the University of Delaware with a degree in Psychology.   Following graduation she moved to New York and worked as the event coordinator for a large photography company.

During her college career she joined UD’s Rowing team and gained extensive fundraising experience, which she continued as the Head Coach of Hofstra University’s rowing team when she moved to New York.  It was in NY that she also began working with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, further expanding her knowledge of nonprofits and development.

Her love of the outdoors brought her to Denver and her love for ballet found her a home at Ballet Nouveau Colorado.  She is ecstatic to be reengaged in the arts and forge ahead along the path of excellence BNC has established.
