Talia holds a BFA, Magna Cum Laude, from Jacksonville University in Theatre and Dance Performance. While in school, Talia was a member of the Gamma Phi Beta sorority, a founding member of a leadership program LEAD @ JU, and an officer in Omicron Delta Kappa, Green Key, and Alpha Psi Omega. She has taught and coached hundreds of children in theatre, and has also had a successful corporate career as a manager for Target stores in Los Angeles and Boulder.

At BNC, in addition to being Public Relations Director, Talia teaches Musical Theatre and ballet during the summer program. She continues to act in her ‘spare’ time and is represented by two local talent agents. Talia has recently appeared as Anne Frank in The Diary of Anne Frank with the Longmont Theatre Company and in local commercials. Currently, she is the Chapter Advisor for Gamma Phi Beta at the University of Colorado and sits on the Public Relations and Marketing committee for the local Panhellenic organization.

In her role of Public Relations Director, Talia has helped Ballet Nouveau Colorado gain national attention in such publications as Dance Magazine and Pointe Magazine. She has helped to bring BNC into the Web 2.0 generation by integrating social networking sites (such as Myspace and Facebook) as well as viral video sites (such as YouTube) into her PR plans. Talia’s skills at ferreting out new networking tools and her knowledge of the World Wide Web have been extremely beneficial, especially when teaching the staff what a Blog is.

She will begin graduate studies in public relations this spring.
