Laura trained with Debbe Busby in Victoria, Texas, and holds a BFA in Ballet Performance from Oklahoma University, where she received the OU School of Dance Ballet Ovation Award, the Yvonne Chouteau Ballet Award, the F. Donald Clark Award for highest distinction in the OU College of Fine Arts. She was also awarded an Undergraduate Research Opportunities Grant in 2002 and 2003 to conduct choreographic research. Prior to BNC, Laura danced with Corpus Christi Concert Ballet, Tulsa Ballet and Oklahoma Festival Ballet. At BNC, she has been featured in Dusty Heat, Gamepiece, and Nutcracker, and she choreographed Tuana for BNC’s 2006 Nouveau Showcase. Laura teaches for the School of BNC (3 years), and is a certified yoga instructor.
