Julia trained with Maria Vegh, former director of the Harkness House in NYC, and also studied at the Joffery Ballet and American Repertory Ballet. Prior to BNC, she danced with David Taylor Dance Theater, Boulder Ballet and Colorado Ballet. Principal roles with BNC have included Louise in Robert Mills’ Moulin Rouge, Black Swan Pas de Deux, Sugar Plum, Snow Queen, Spanish and Arabian in Nutcracker, and pas de deux in Dusty Heat, In Between Dreams, and Piazolla Tango. She has choreographed for Nouveau Showcase each year since 2005, and has taught in the School of BNC for six years. When she is not dancing, Julia is a realtor with Keller Williams Realty Downtown LLC in Denver.
