Julie trained with David Taylor Dance Theatre, and at Virginia School of the Arts under Petrus Bossman, Martha Faesi and Kris Cangelosi, where she received the prestigious Dame Margo Fonteyn award upon graduation. Prior to BNC, she danced with Ballet Austin, where she was featured in Steven Mills’ Nutcracker, and Nashville Ballet, where she danced roles in Romeo and Juliet, Robin Hood, Giselle, Nutcracker, and Paul Vasterling’s Dracula. At BNC, she has performed the lead role in Beauty and the Beast (2007), and featured roles in Nutcracker, Dusty Heat and Game Piece. Julie enjoys vegetarian cooking and reality TV.
