Catherine trained with the prestigious Tanya Pearsons Classical Coaching Academy in Sydney, Australia, receiving honors in her R.A.D exams and numerous competitions. She also studied with the Atlanta Ballet summer program, and the Fairfield Ballet School. Prior to BNC, Catherine danced with Dance Theatre of Iowa, Sydney City Youth Ballet, and the South Australian Classical Youth Ballet Company, performing lead and featured roles in many productions. With BNC, Catherine’s featured roles include Dew Drop Fairy and Arabian in Nutcracker, and the pas de deux Parallel and Elevated by David Taylor. She has taught for the School of BNC since 2003. Catherine is an accomplished violinist and pianist, and enjoys reading and writing.
