Colby Foss

Colby began his training in Fargo under the direction of Eddie and Kathy Gasper. In 2008 he graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Arizona with a B.F.A in dance. He attended summer programs on full scholarship with Milwaukee Ballet, Boston Ballet, and River North Chicago Dance Company. While at the University of Arizona, Colby performed various ballet, modern, and jazz works including Balanchine’s Allegro Brilliante, Frank Chaves’ Gruisin Suite, and Sam Watson’s Badum Boom. He had principal roles in Doug Nielsen’s Habit of Facing Front, James Clouser’s Con Spirito, and Balanchine’s Serenade and Tschaichovsky Pas de Deux. He has also taught and performed with Ballet Magnificat in Tucson. Colby loves his new home in Colorado and is thrilled for his first season with BNC.
